Dr. Dvora Swartzberg

Dvora Swartzberg was born in Kfar Ganim in Petah Tikva Israel.
Dr. Swartzberg hold a Ph.D. from the Faculty of Life Sciences at Bar Ilan University.
She continues another doctoral, in the Department of Jewish Philosophy.

Her research occupation focused on the Agricultural Research,
genetics and biotechnology of plant, in the Ministry of Agriculture,
Agriculture Research Organization (ARO), Volcani Center.

 

Subsequently she worked as researcher at the Faculty of Biology at the Technion in Haifa.


Dr. Swartzberg is an artist who controls the technique of oil paintings especially on canvas. She began to paint from an early age, as part of painting classes, in circles and workshops for painting.


By looking at her paintings, we are expose to her complex world,
where art is not her main occupation, but an expression of content absorbed into it from a multi-dimensional world of science, landscape and vegetation of Israeli and Kabalistic subjects, which she studies at Bar-Ilan University.


Dr. Swartzberg control technique of oil paint on canvas, sometimes rushing paintings coarse brush strokes and smears trowel, brush strokes refined as they sometimes soft and caressing.


Dvora Swartzberg is a member of the Petah Tikva Artists Association.
She presented and presents in Solo exhibitions and numerous group exhibitions around the country, among them; "Habima"- Tel Aviv theater, "diamond" in Ramat Gan, Gallery "Bluebird" in Petah Tikva, Gallery "Castra" Haifa at Mini single and solo exhibition in 'Gula'- Cultural Complex, in Petah Tikva.
